The Convention of States Montana Team has been busy building support statewide. Volunteers have organized numerous events and have been highly visible at gun shows, fairs and rodeos. Recently 13 COS volunteers collected 473 petitions at the Montana State Fair in Great Falls.
The COS booth drew steady traffic and allowed volunteers to educate fellow citizens on Article V.
Around the same time, volunteers manned a booth at the Last Chance Stampede and Fair in the State Capitol of Helena.
Further east in the Treasure State, COS volunteers have been visible at gun shows and community events all spring and summer long.
Earlier in the Spring, a series of town halls were conducted statewide featuring Montana’s own Rob Natelson. As part of that series of events, Senator Rick Santorum drew 300 people to an event in Kalispell.
Montana is gearing up for its biennial legislative session in 2023.
The COS resolution will be introduced by Senator Tom McGillvray. In preparation, Lt. Colonel Allen West and McGillvray will be headlining a rally at the Montana State Capitol in Helena on September 28.
