Michael Farris to be Joined by NC Lt. Governor Dan Forest Tomorrow to Discuss Convention of States

Published in Blog on July 17, 2017 by Convention Of States Project

Calling all North Carolinians! The Convention of States Tour has come to the Tar Heel State, and you still have a chance to hear Michael Farris live and in person.

North Carolina Lt. Governor Dan Forest kindly organized two town hall discussions with Constitutional expert and co-founder of the Convention of States Project, Michael Farris, the first of which took place earlier this month.

Michael earned a standing ovation from the crowd at the first event, so you'll want to hear what Michael has to say tomorrow night in Guilford County.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of North Carolina to learn more about the Convention of States Project and have their questions answered by one of the most prominent leaders in the Convention of States movement.

In typical town hall style, questions from the attending public will be permitted in an organized and civil format. This event will take place at the following times and locations.

GUILFORD COUNTY

WHO: Lt. Governor Dan Forest and Michael Farris

WHAT: Guilford County Townhall—Convention of the States Discussion

WHEN: October 28th from 6:00—8:00 PM

WHERE: Oak Branch Conference and Events Center (aka Greensboro Regional Realtors Association)—23 Oak Branch Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407

PRESS: Open

Lt. Governor Forest organized these events as a public service for the people of North Carolina. “Michael Farris is an esteemed constitutional expert. The two upcoming townhall style discussions will be an excellent opportunity to raise questions, address concerns and confusion, and allow for the expression of individual opinions surrounding the Convention of States Project,” said Forest.
