Michigan Training Call

Published in Blog on September 17, 2020 by Janet Rajcevski

Happy belated Constitution Day! Hopefully you had time to reflect back on September 17, 1787, when the Constitutional Convention met for the last time in Philadelphia, to sign the document that thirty-nine brave men had created.

Thankfully, two days before that on September 15, 1787, George Mason stood up to point out that the current plan allowed ONLY Congress to propose amendments to the Constitution. Mason gave an impassioned speech urging the delegates that the states needed a check on federal power. Article V was added to the Constitution by unanimous vote and WE THE PEOPLE were given a mechanism to reign in the power of the Federal Government.

We are building an army of engaged citizen activists right here in Michigan to help spread the word about Convention of States and Article V. Similar to the colonists during the revolution, we are a bunch of patriots building an army with the goal of putting our Federal Government back in the box created by the Constitution.

Please join your fellow Michigan patriots on Tuesday call to learn what you can do to help save this great nation.
