May marks the beginning of the Federal Convention

Published in Blog on May 06, 2018 by Joe Stephans

The month of May marks the beginning of a very special time in the history of our country’s founding.

Many people in our country don’t realize the Federal Convention (often incorrectly called the constitutional convention) convened on May 25, 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as the result of the outcome and recommendation of the Annapolis Convention held in Annapolis, Maryland from September 11, 1786 to September 14, 1786.

As you go through the rest of the year, put the following dates on your calendar and do your own research about individual events.
