Keli'i Akina and Mark Meckler discuss Convention of States on the Thinktech Hawaii Broadcast Network program "Hawaii Together."
On Monday, October 29, a prominent Hawaii policy leader provided a key interview serving as a capstone to the "Talk Story" Convention of States Town Hall meeting held October 4.
Keli'i Akina, President/CEO of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii on the Thinktech Hawaii Broadcast Network show "Hawaii Together," aired a live 30-minute remote interview with the Convention of States Founder and President Mark Meckler.
One of several Thinktech Hawaii network hosts, Dr. Akina is perhaps preeminent, as he is best known in Hawaii for his limited government advocacy through his institute, his many op-ed columns, legislative testimony, as well as his local community and media appearances.
The interview with Mark Meckler was one of the most intelligent and well-conducted question-and-answer sessions engaged with the Convention of States leader.
Ranging on issues from the 10th Amendment to the runaway growth of the federal government to the 2016 Simulated Convention of States, viewers learned the clear definition of federalism, state sovereignty, Hawaii's 'con-con,' and how to get more involved with Convention of States in Hawaii.
