Make Your Voice Heard

Everyone is still talking about the very controversial 2020 election. There are strong opinions on both sides about the election process and the results.

A dramatic change to everyone’s businesses and lifestyles occurred last year, too. Citizens are standing up to demand politicians respect the Bill or Rights espoused in our US Constitution after tyrannical political leaders infringed upon our most basic privileges as citizens under the guise of “an emergency.”

Left to their own ends, political leaders will now create a “new emergency” for every situation to infringe upon the rights of others while enjoying the very privileges they take from others. Our US Constitution is clear in this respect: the people representing us in government who made these tyrannical decisions all are supposed to work for us.

The pandemic and the tyrannical actions of unelected bureaucrats is causing a public backlash as people realize they need to get involved with grass-roots organizations that promote the power of the people. Families' futures are being played with right now due to a crushing national debt caused by complacent leaders in Congress who enjoy easy elections in many states where the laws are rigged in favor of keep the incumbents in power.

The will to survive the inequities that abound and protect our children from tyranny is strong. The Kansas Convention of States is one of the fastest growing grass-roots organizations for this very good reason.

We can no longer silently stand by and let bullies who do not respect the rights of their constituents or their interests push us around. We must build upon our growing Convention of States numbers with more voices in our local and state governments.

Our movement is promoting the will of the people and their God-given rights described in the Declaration of Independence and further protected by the Bill of Rights in our US Constitution. Please join us as we continue on our incredible journey to make history and restore the United States of America as the beacon of freedom that everyone in the world seeks to enjoy by copying our success in representative government.

Article V of our US Constitutions gives the states the power to call a meeting where they all meet as equals at a convention. This meeting is known as a “Convention of States”.

It takes 34 states agreeing to the subjects to have the convention. At this meeting the amendments debated are limited by the 34 applications from the states.

The state legislatures control their delegates at this meeting according to the protocols they alone establish. Any proposed amendment must be approved by a majority of states.

It may be easy to get popular amendments like term limits for Congress passed at the convention, but the hard part will be getting 38 states to ratify any proposed amendment for it to become law. To find out more about the Convention of States, I encourage you to click on the link to our website.
