Louisiana House passes Convention of States application

We have great news! Yesterday afternoon, the Louisiana House of Representatives PASSED the Convention of States resolution by a vote of 60-38! It will now move to the Senate and will be heard in the Senate and Governmental Affairs Committee.

It needs to pass this committee in order for it to move to the floor of the Senate. We will let you know when we have a date. We will call on you once again to call and email the members of the Senate and Governmental Affairs Committee when we know a date.

This is a historic time in our nation's history. For the first time in our republic, there is a coordinated nationwide movement to amend the Constitution through an Article V Convention of States in order to rein in an out of control federal government. And you are part of that movement. We are all making history. Thank you for everything you have done.

In Liberty,

Bryce Barras
Louisiana State Director
