Join us on Monday, January 29, 2018, as Convention of States California hosts the first event of the year.
We will be meeting on the West Side Steps of our State Capitol Building in Sacramento, California from 9:00am to 1:00pm, to navigate the halls and distribute informational packets to all 120 of our state legislators.

Volunteers will sign in at the registration table, and be given the name of their group leader for packet distribution assignments. Registration begins at 8:30 am.
Prior to assembling into your groups, you will hear a few words from our State Director, Kimberly Hogan, as she speaks about the current status of California's Convention of States resolution and what actions can be taken to help spur our efforts along. She will also give instructions for the groups that will be navigating the halls.
Next, you will hear from Ginny Rapini, the National Grassroots Director for Convention of States.
Then it will be on to your groups with your group leader, where you will be given your packets and all other information, as you march on the Capitol.
Stick around and listen to the testimonies of the volunteers coming out of the Capitol Building, as they share their experience with the rest of us.
This will also be the perfect opportunity for you to be interviewed by our Media Liaison and recorded by our State Videographer, about why you support Convention of States and why it is important to our state that our legislators support it too. These testimonies will be posted on our website for others to view and learn why this is the only solution as big as the problem.
