Comradery, fellowship, love, gratitude, patriotism, a deep love of America and the principles that America is founded on, are the words that come to mind as I reflect on an inspiring well-organized day led by the organizers Linda Wenhold and her sister Brenda Hendricks.
Dozens of volunteers, musicians’ food trucks, a children’s area with activities, and a tent for people who would like to pray, all made the Let Freedom Ring-Our Constitution and Your Voice Freedom Rally held at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, PA, on September 26th from 1 to 5 PM, a flawless, inspiring, and joyful event.
A warm and sunny puffy white cloud day with a breeze that slowly ebbed away, added to the success and enjoyment for the hundreds of people who relaxed with their families on lawn chairs or on the grass with their children on their laps, dogs asleep at their feet. A prayer opened the freedom rally followed by the pledge of allegiance, hands over hearts.
The event opened with Andy the Clown dressed in a red, white, and blue billowing outfit with make-up and a wig to match the colors of the American flag. The first speaker Diana Campbell, a mother who home schools her children, is also the founder of Health Freedom Pennsylvania. Diana spoke about medical freedom, the importance of a person’s right to choose what kind of medical care they want to receive. The separation of government from Big Pharma, and the overreach of the government.
The keynote speaker Tim Barton of Wall Builders, an ordained minister, mesmerized the audience with his passion, knowledge, and deep love of the Constitution, America, and the Bible, weaving the founding principles, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights with the truth that all freedom and rights come from God.
An inspiring speaker, Tim has extensively researched the truth about America’s Founding Fathers disputing the distortion and misrepresentation as taught in the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory that has infiltrated and negatively impacted our educational system.
Milo Morris spoke about Critical Race Theory. Sam Faddis the election Audit, and Susan Peters the Convention of States Regional Director Eastern Pennsylvania, closed the uplifting day raising us higher reminding of the importance of citizen self-governance.
“Just like you pay your mortgage at the beginning of each month, make it a habit to call your representatives, your Senators, and tell them to support the Convention of States," she said.
After Susan spoke, dozens of people came to the Convention of States vendor table and signed the petition!
A successful, inspiring, and fun filled day!
