Local Event Promotes Article V Provisions
The Otsego County Library in Gaylord, Michigan will be the site of a Convention of States Action event titled, “Rescuing America’s Freedoms.” The event will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. The Otsego County Library is located at 700 S. Otsego Avenue (I-75 Business Loop) in Gaylord, across from the Marathon gas station and Mister T’s Auto Glass.
This seminar will answer your questions about Article V of the U.S. Constitution and the Convention of States (COS) movement that has sprung up around the country in response to federal government overreach. Region Captain Bruce Finlayson will present a well-qualified team of volunteers to inform you on how you can protect your family and community from Federal government overreach.
This event is free to attend. In addition to the speakers from many civic organizations, you will receive educational materials that address the specific areas in which the Federal government is infringing upon the freedoms of the American people. They will answer all of your questions and have petitions you can sign asking our Michigan legislatures to uphold the Constitution and God-given rights.
