Over the last week I have received two pieces of information that concerns me. The first one was from Imprimis, a publication of Hillsdale College.
It had a great copy of Brian T. Kennedy’s adapted speech delivered on September 29, 2020, in Rapid City, South Dakota, at a Hillsdale College National Leadership Seminar. The second was from an email sent by Mark Meckler asking us to watch a video.
Both gentlemen have written for the need of America to wake up before it’s too late.
Here is a portion of Brian’s speech:
“We are at risk of losing a war today because too few of us know that we are engaged with an enemy, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), that means to destroy us. The forces of globalism that have dominated our government (until recently) and our media for the better part of half a century have blinded too many Americans to the threat we face. If we do not wake up to the danger soon, we will find ourselves helpless.”
He weaves us through various examples of how the CCP has and is engaged in a war against the American way of life.
In Mark Meckler’s email, his comments are just as strong:
“Our country and our way of life are at stake. Every red-blooded American needs to see this video, so they’ll understand and be motivated to vote. So, watch it...share it...and make sure everyone you know does as well. It’s the least we can do…"
As a “watchman” I have a very similar role as Paul Revere. My role in American life is to sound the alarm, not just the Chinese are coming or the Progressives are coming but that they are here, and they have declared war on the way of life left by our Founders.
It is great that we are focusing on getting out the vote, but I am still shouting the message of the Convention of States Michigan mission to build an engaged army of educated, self-governing grassroots activists in Michigan.
If you are reading this, you have chosen to be part of Convention of States in Michigan. You have felt the need to get involved to save our nation at some level.
Today I am asking you, have you taken your freedoms for granted? Do you understand what a life under a socialist regime is like? We are on the verge of becoming the next Venezuela if the left gets their way.
I need your help. Will you join me Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. to discuss how we can build the movement?
When Americans come together and put their minds and backs together, with God’s help we can accomplish anything. I hope to see you then.
