Introducing... Instagram, Convention of States style!

Published in Blog on July 17, 2017 by Convention Of States Project

There are hundreds of social media sites these days -- between Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, and literally hundreds of other outlets, it can be hard to know where to start (and for those of us under 20, where to stop!).

We opened an Instagram account, however, because we want to do something on social media we've never done before.

For those of you who don't know, Instagram is a social media app designed exclusively for mobile phones (you can download the app from the Google Play Store or the App Store). It's similar to Facebook, but instead of a host of different media -- links, articles, photos, videos, statuses, etc. -- Instagram features photos and videos exclusively, all organized in an easy-to-read news feed.

So here's what we'd like to do:

We want the Convention of States Instagram to be about you, our volunteers. Thousands of amazing patriots have joined the movement since we began the Project in 2013. Since then, we've heard hundreds of stories of moms, dads, students, and grandparents who have worked tirelessly to promote the Project in their state.

So we want to give credit where credit is due! Our Instagram will feature pictures and videos of Convention of States volunteers and supporters from around the country. Here's a taste of what you'll see:
