How a chat group led me to COS

Published in Blog on March 31, 2022 by Gail Annette Soncrant

I was like many patriots, worried about the direction our country was headed. And I wasn’t shy about expressing my opinion but became wary of making comments that no one heard and that went nowhere or, just as likely, were censored and deleted.

gail-soncrantI felt as if I was the only one praying for sanity in our government.

I was participating in a chat group that used to be full of people who were looking for ways to help get our country get back on track. Someone in the chat recommended Convention of States to me, that I might find a way of actually being of service and a path toward restoring individual and state's rights. So, I typed in the recommended website, found the application for Prayer Warrior and then Content Writer, and submitted them.

The vast array of volunteer opportunities with COS is amazing.  For instance, my health does not permit me to participate in activities such as "block-walking" or standing for hours on the steps of government buildings. But I can provide assistance in communicating the validity of the Convention project right from my living room.

And so can you!

The abuse of power and governmental overreach had become more frightening and maddening each day, so this Convention of States Project must continue to expand and reach out to our citizenry more each day.

We don't have much time left.

We need to broadcast our message to every platform and stage we can find. We must multiply our voices in every way possible before it is too late.

Visit Convention of States and learn how you too can become part of the solution!

Gail Soncrant is an 83-year-old great-grandmother. She was married to a sailor and lived and traveled all over this great country. When her kids were all in school, she started college. It took her over 20 years, going part-time, to graduate with high honors from Eastern Michigan University, by way of Ferris State and a couple of other schools.
