COS Hearing in House of Delegates on March 4th!

Convention of States Action Maryland's House Bill #1202 will be heard in the Rules and Executive Nominations Committee on March 4th at 1:00 pm.

The Maryland testimony team has been working hard to deliver the most impactful message to the Committee. It would be great if we could fill the room on March 4th with COS supporters from across Maryland. If you are able, please attend and show your support for those testifying and our COS legislation.

Model Commissioner Legislation Bill Synopsis: Requiring the General Assembly to appoint a delegation to an amendments convention called under Article V of the U.S. Constitution providing for the qualifications, oath, compensation, and duties of a commissioner to the delegation; establishing the operations of the delegation.

All Convention of States (COS) Maryland supporters need to contact their State General Assembly members. Even if you have already reached out, it will help our cause if you repeatedly contact your legislators. Persistence pays off!

Passing our COS Resolution will require all of us to work together, urging our legislature to stand up against Washington, D.C. Contact your General Assembly members and encourage them to agree to represent your position in support of our COS legislation.
