Hawaii Team Wraps Up Capitol Campaign with “Michael Farris Day"

Published in Blog on February 29, 2024 by Mark Kenneth White

Team members at the Capitol for week 6 included, left to right: Mark White, Brett Kulbis, Ijeva Bambridge, Jason Horstman, Rita Kama-Kimura, Lei Lono, Chanara Richmond, Ginger Goodwin, Signey Godfrey, Lori Nip, Donna & Jack Van Osdol.

Calling it "Michael Farris Day” Hawaii’s team gathered, on Wednesday, February 28, for the sixth and last (scheduled) visit to the state Capitol.  Twelve COSHI volunteers highlighted Convention of States Co-founder Michael Farris, JD, LLM. by distributing two informative handouts based on his extensive Article V scholarship.

Hawaii's teams provided legislators with Farris' COS surge article "Can We Trust the Constitution?" and a QR Code linking to the COS originator's 14-minute outstanding testimony given in a recent Ohio committee hearing.

Not only does Michael Farris’ surge article dispel two major falsehoods about the creation and ratification of the US Constitution, his thorough COS testimony in Ohio illustrates why he is the nation’s premier Article V litigator.

Status Update. As of Monday, February 26, our Convention of States Resolution in the Hawaii House has been emailed to all Representatives for co-sponsorship signatures and filing as a House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) by Rep Cory Chun is expected on Monday, March 4!
