In an amazing period of growth coinciding with statewide restrictions due to the Chinese virus, the number of Convention of States petition signers and overall supporters in Hawaii has surpassed 6,000 in total.
In the early evening of July 1, a young, hard working mother on the Big Island viewed our Hawaii State Facebook page showing a post of Ben Shapiro and felt compelled to login and sign our petition, becoming Hawaii's 6,000th supporter!
Monthly petition signers from September 2014 to July 2020 have steadily increased in the Aloha State. Periodic jumps in growth rate are attributable to annual and semi-annual petition collection events. The 2020 COVID-19 restrictions spurred the most recent four-month growth in COS supporters.
With a state population of 1.4 million (and declining), 6,000 petition signatures in Hawaii represents almost double the sign-up rate of many larger populated states on the mainland.
