Free Series: Our Constitution & Local Government

Published in Blog on June 06, 2022 by Robin Riddell

Join us for a monthly series on the U.S. Constitution and Local Government Operations. This series is open to anyone with an interest in expanding their knowledge of the Constitution, its origin, and how it works. If you want to learn the tools and resources for communicating with your elected state and local politicians, we will arm you with everything you need.

The sessions are free and open to the public.

We will explore our federal Constitution and the thinking our framers used in developing it. A series of videos titled “Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of the Constitution,” created by Hillsdale College will serve as the basis for learning and understanding the Constitution.

Invited local speakers will offer insight into how local government works. Participants will also learn about various online sources to help them better connect with local government.

This is a great opportunity to share with one another and to become more knowledgeable as we engage in our government.
