Residents of Arkansas have five exciting opportunities next week to hear Michael Farris, co-founder of the Convention of States Project, speak about the last, best chance to preserve liberty in America.
More and more Americans believe the federal government has overreached its constitutionally-established boundaries and invades almost every area of their lives. They fear their children and grandchildren will inherit a bankrupt nation run by an unaccountable bureaucracy.
Fortunately, as both a national and grassroots movement, the Convention of States Project continues to gain momentum in its effort to end Washington’s abuse of power and preserve the liberty we cherish.
Article V of the Constitution allows the states to call a Convention of States to restrict the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, effectively returning the citizens’ rightful power over the ruling elite.
Together, state legislators and citizens can recover the checks and balances on federal power to protect our liberty from the abuses in Washington, D.C.
