Facebook's going to hate this: How to use social media in the fight for liberty

Published in Blog on August 01, 2019 by Article V Patriot

We’ve been blown away by the level of excitement and support for our upcoming Leadership Summit.

We’re now just a few short weeks away from the big event and are working overtime to secure the remainder of the funding needed to cover the costs of this conference and host our volunteer leaders with lodging and meals.

We wanted to tell you that Convention of States Foundation is now partnering with Convention of States Action to host the Leadership Summit. With that in mind, we now have a unique opportunity to harness the power of Facebook on behalf of Convention of States Foundation.

Yes… actually using social media for GOOD!

Everyone with a Facebook account has the ability to start a mini-fundraiser (like high school sports teams OR "Kickstarter") asking your friends to help you raise funds for a specific charity.

Here’s the best part: the Convention of States Foundation is now listed as one of those charities!

Would you consider taking advantage of this tool to help close the gap on the remaining funding needed for the Leadership Summit?

It costs $1250 to send one state leader to the summit and $7500 to send a state team to the summit. You can host a fundraiser from now until the 22nd of August when the summit starts.

It's easy! Here’s a quick instructional video on how to set up a Facebook fundraiser from your desktop. If you're using a mobile device, watch here.

This tax-deductible fundraising tool can make a HUGE impact toward sending your state leader to this critical event while bringing vital training back to the front lines of liberty for COS.
