Elon Musk for COS? An urgent CTA for the grassroots

Published in Blog on February 05, 2025 by Jakob Fay

Driving through Austin, Texas, you notice a billboard towering above you. Is that Elon Musk wielding a chainsaw??

Yep.

Courtesy of Convention of States Foundation, the area surrounding the Austin Tesla Gigafactory is presently graced by several billboards featuring the head of DOGE brandishing a chainsaw against the administrative state. Physical print billboards and digital trucks alike promote the same message with the Tesla president’s likeness: “Elon, want to cut government permanently?”

If the answer is, Yes, then Mr. Musk is encouraged to swiftly endorse the Founding Fathers’ Article V convention process for deflating the size and scope of the federal government.

Yesterday, Mark Meckler posted pictures of the new billboards on X, and they quickly exploded. The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro and U.S. Representative Chip Roy both retweeted the images, which racked up thousands of views.

But we haven’t heard from Elon yet.

Now, we need your help. This week, as DOGE and President Donald Trump gear up to slash government waste and bureaucracy, it’s vital that we make this message viral on X. A mention or endorsement from Elon would almost certainly result in a massive boost for our organization. Let’s not waste this opportunity!

Please join Ben Shapiro and Rep. Roy by reposting the message from Mark above. Who knows? We could be just one post away from catching Elon Musk’s attention – and yours could be the one that makes it happen!

Repost Mark Meckler’s post today, and if you’re in Austin, be on the lookout for the chainsaw-wielding enemy of the Deep State!
