Dr. Tom Coburn journeyed to paradise to support the Hawaii COS Team and to talk story with Hawaii patriots.
During his visit, Dr. Coburn was hosted in studio on the 808 State Update (AM940) radio show with former Lieutenant Governor Duke Aiona. Dr. Coburn had an entire hour on air to discuss the Convention of States.

During his visit, Dr. Coburn was hosted in studio on the 808 State Update (AM940) radio show with former Lieutenant Governor Duke Aiona. Dr. Coburn had an entire hour on air to discuss the Convention of States.
After the radio show we headed to dinner with key COS Hawaii leaders (Bob Twogood, Steve Crain, Emil Svrcina, Brett Kulbis, Mark White and Jake Wilson). We had a great conversation and grinds!
On Thursday morning, Dr. Coburn called in to the Mike Buck Show (AM690). Dr Coburn knows his stuff, and Mike Buck gave a great lead-up teaser for Convention of States.
The interview lasted 15 minutes and really made an impact. Within an hour, our State Director Mark White received emails asking about the event. Later in the day we called the Oahu Veterans Center, and they told us they’d gotten several calls about the event!
We had lunch with two of our neighbor island leaders Tim Means (Maui) and Mikie Kerr (Big Island), who flew over to support. This was followed by a meeting with state legislators at the capitol building.

Dr Coburn commented on how well this went. We had four legislators, plus two staffers, a Grassroot Institute Hawaii member, and three members of our team. The biggest surprise was the attendance by State Senator Clarence Nishihara.
Finally Thursday Evening we hosted "Talk Story With Tom," a Town Hall Meeting. Our team had the room looking fabulous with our Convention of States table, banners, snacks, framed Declaration, Constitution, and Bill Of Rights on display.

About 30 people attended.
Mikie Kerr bought party name tags so we could be on a first name basis. Invocation by Greig Porter was absolutely unlike any other. A video message from Texas Governor Abbott was a perfect stage-setter.
Former State Senator Sam Slom made opening comments in support. Then Dr. Coburn had everyone enraptured with his insightful message. Another 40 minutes of Q&A helped solidify the message for the evening.
Everyone left the meeting upbeat, enthusiastic, and clear on their next steps to take. Go on line and sign petition, get your friends involved with COS, and then tell your legislators.
It was a wonderful visit and we greatly appreciate all the work Dr. Coburn is doing to save the future for us and our children.
