Convention of States volunteers may have a country to save, but we don't mind having some fun in the process!
State Grassroots Coordinator Ginny Watkins opened up her home in Bear for a pool party on Saturday afternoon, July 17. Team members came from all over New Castle County also from southern Kent County.
The warm, sticky weather made the pool feel great, although the swimming and the outdoor picnic was interrupted by a thunderstorm. No problem, the party moved inside to Ginny's comfortable, air-conditioned kitchen.
The rain cleared off after a short time, taking much of the humidity with it and making it pleasant to regroup on the patio for dessert and conversation.
One of the blessings of being a part of the Convention of States movement is the opportunity to fellowship with like-minded patriots who love our country as much as we do and believe in the American vision of freedom and self-governance.
If you believe in those ideals, please join the COS Delaware team by volunteering today. And maybe I'll see you at the next party!
