COSHI Team Sets New 2-Hour Petition Record!

Published in Blog on October 19, 2021 by Mark Kenneth White

Team Hawaii came away with a big win on Sunday, Oct 18th, at the Aloha Freedom Coalition’s Rally at Ala Moana Beach Park in Waikiki. In just two hours, seven of Hawaii’s most dedicated Convention of States team members collected 71 petition signatures, including 10 people who want to be volunteers!

The team’s effort set a new Hawaii record for petition collection over a defined 2-hour period. The previous record was 63 signatures.

Petition Collection was a vigorous activity.  Pictured from left to right: Bob explains COS to a supporter; A petition signer expresses his support; Sidney gives out a Pocket Constitution; Brett seeks a signature.

This event was sponsored by Hawaii’s Aloha Freedom Coalition (AFC) and featured key local and national figures arguing against forced vaccinations and COVID 19 mandates.  The rally was well attended and the 4th event of this kind held by AFC. The Team's results reinforce the idea that successful petition collection depends on the number of active COS volunteers at an event rather than the size of the crowd.
