Dr. Ben Tapper gives the keynote address at the World Wide Rally for Freedom in Honolulu.
On Saturday July 24th, marking the first team event since the start of COVID -19 restrictions, three Hawaii team members got together to put on a very successful Convention of States display tent at Ala Moana Beach Park.
Coordinating with the Aloha Freedom Coalition, sponsor of Honolulu’s World Wide Rally for Freedom, District Captains Nicolette VonWiegandt, Alberta Lono, and Bob Fitzgibbons set up, manned, and worked the COS table collecting 48 petition signatures in less than 4 hours!

Rainbows, colors, and spirits were flying high as patriots rallied to the cause for Convention of States!
The heartfelt team spirit at the event was evident as Mike VonWiegandt, sensing rain, rushed out to buy the last pop-up tent available in the area while Alberta provided pocket guides and organized the many handout materials made available to interested rally-goers. Bob Fitzgibbon’s prior experience with the COS team in Georgia helped present a cohesive message and State Director Mark White brought out blank petitions, pocket constitutions, posters and banners.

Convention of States is most successful when building relationships and thanks to Nicolette's proactive work leading up to Saturday’s event, the Aloha Freedom Coalition may very well become the latest coalition partner for COS Hawaii.
