COSHI Team Blasts Previous Gun Show Record!

Published in Blog on March 22, 2023 by Brett Kulbis

Team Hawaii breaks petition signing event record...again! This past Saturday and Sunday, March 18 and 19, Team Hawaii once again had an expanded 2-table display at the Hawaii Great Guns Show gathering petition signatures.

Over the two day event, collecting 177 on day 1 and 155 on day 2--both single-day records--the Team garnered an unbelievable 332 total petition signatures!   These include 72 veterans and 33 supporters interested in volunteering for the COS effort.

COSHI Happy Warriors joining us over the two days include: Mark White SD, Brett Kulbis SGC, Sheryl Bieler EC, Jim Ray DC, Julie Yamato DC, Bob Fitzgibbons DC/VC, Jolanda Kahele DC Team, and Volunteer Activists -  Ijeva Bambridge, Ginai Hall, Charles Stutz, Chanara Richmond, Rita Kama-Kimura, and Jack & Donna Von Osdol.

"We've been doing this event for the last seven years, and it always amazes me that we continue to increase our numbers every year.  said Mark White, Hawaii State Director. “This proves it’s not about the number of visitors to the gun show, but the number of COS volunteers working our display table that makes all the difference.

In fact, this year’s event had an amazing 2942 tickets collected through the door.  As State Grassroots Coordinator Brett Kulbis pointed out, "every time Washington threatens our gun rights, Hawaii gun owners prepare."

As usual, new team members that join us for the first time, start with much apprehension, and end up thoroughly enjoying the event, often asking when the next event is scheduled!
