🌴COSHI Capitol Surge Day 3 - We the People🌴

Published in Blog on February 13, 2025 by Brett Kulbis

February 12 marked Team Hawaii's third day of their six day surge at the State Capitol of the 33rd Hawai'i Legislature.

Front Row (L-R) - VOL Chanara Richmond, DC Lei Lono, VOL Signe Godfrey, VOL Donna VanOsdol, and VOL Ginger Goodwin. Back Row (L-R) - SGC Brett Kulbis, VOL Ijeva Bambridge, VOL G. Lono, DC Jason Horstman, VOL Jack VanOsdol, and VOL Lori Nip. Absent at the time Julie Yamato.

We huddled for a prayer led by Ijeva Bambridge and SGC Brett Kulbis led the huddle outlining the game plan and distributing materials.

Again the day's event wasn't boring. "Moms Demand Action", an anti-second amendment organization, in their red t-shirts were present in mass. They were at the Capitol to testify in support of bills being heard in the Senate PSM Committee to further infringe on Hawai'i residents 2nd Amendment rights.

Hawaii legislators received their district's listing of COS petition signers.

The other item we handed out was a list of petition signers for each legislator's House or Senate district. We have found that providing the names of actual petition signers within their district can have a positive impact.

Join us at the Capitol for our next surge day Wednesday, February 19th, at noon!

You too can be part of the COS Hawai'i ‘Ohana’ by volunteering here, and join them at their next petition signing event the Hawai'i Historic Arms Great Guns gun show in March!
