The following is a message from John Dahmen, District Captain for Convention of States Virginia.
On Thursday, June 28, COS Virginia's Regional Captain Susan Peters was invited to address the Louisa County Tea Party.
Susan passionately detailed the history of self-governance in the United States, then addressed how Convention of States knows the rules to rein in the federal leviathan.
At the end of the meeting an informal poll was taken: "How many have heard of Convention of States before tonight?"
About half raised their hands.
"How many were for Convention of States before tonight?"
About half raised their hands.
"How many were opposed to a Convention of States?"
Two raised their hands.
The last question was the icing. "How many would agree with a Convention of States now?"
Everybody raised their hands.
