In the continuing effort to educate Coloradans about Convention of States Action and to encourage them to be more in engaged, CO COSA has begun a series of open discussions across the western slope of Colorado.
Meetings have been held in Rifle, Grand Junction and the latest in Montrose.
The discussion in Montrose, hosted by State Director Laura Neimeister and Regional Captain Joe Fockler, focused on the Constitution, Article V and what is happening with COSA in Colorado. The small group format allows those in attendance to ask questions, voice their concerns and talk about possible amendments that could come out of the convention. The meetings are being well received and are motivating Coloradans to join the fight.
In addition to the open discussions, CO COSA is getting invitations to speak to different organizations. Recently, District Captain Donelson Lawry, presented a training about Article V at "Stand for the Constitution" in Grand Junction; again being very well received and resulting in many new petition signers. Other organizations, like "Liberty Girls", are asking CO COSA to speak to their members.
Despite all of the obstacles facing the Convention of States team in Colorado, they are facing the challenges head on and are determined to grow the army and get the resolution passed.
