For the second year in a row, COS New Jersey hosted a booth at the 36th Annual Quick Check Festival of Ballooning in Readington, New Jersey.
The event was a huge success for the team, as we accumulated 154 signed petitions! States represented by new petition signers included New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and California! The festival spanned three days, and was attended by approximately 200,000 people.
Special thanks to District Captain Gary Brenner (LD-40), who secured our presence at the event, coordinated shifts for volunteers, and attended the festival all three days. We would also like to thank Donald MacLeay, Jonathan Viaud, Tara Fleming, Don Wilkison, John Meeks, Robert and Francesca Nordin, and Pamela Collins for assisting with outreach.
