On May 4, 2019, the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women’s 89th Annual Convention welcomed members of Convention of States New Jersey as speakers. The invitation came as a result of District Captain Gary Brenner's meeting with the Federation’s Chair, Ms. Angelique Scholl, at the COS table during the NJ GOP Leadership Summit in Atlantic City.
Using the presentation from the COS website, Mr. Brenner explained the principal COS mission and core values to the Federation. The audience was eager to ask questions and engage with both Mr. Brenner, and District Captain Tara Fleming, who was also on hand to help broaden the discussion and answer questions.
This was a very productive presentation as many proud and curious patriots, previously unaware of COS, became inspired by our mission and inquired about getting involved. COS New Jersey is grateful to have had the opportunity to spread the word at this great event.
