COS supporters and volunteers in the Bennington/ NW Omaha areas of Nebraska came together in August for a Neighborhood COS meeting to share updates on progress made this year locally as well as on the state and national levels.
Several people volunteered to help staff the COS booth at the Nebraska State Fair. The group initiated discussion for identifying activities that will be undertaken locally. Final decisions will be made at the September Neighborhood COS meeting. Some of the activities being considered include blockwalking, attending candidate forums and an upcoming rally early next year at the Nebraska State Capitol.
The evening capped off with everyone enjoying dishes of ice cream with all the fixings. Did we mention that next month's neighborhood meeting will feature pie? Ah yes, COS and pie. They do go together!
