On October 9, 2021, over 140 NC COS volunteers gathered in a veterans facility in High Point to celebrate the progress we have made, discuss the areas in which we can improve and pray for the future of our country,
2021 has been fruitful for our state and we are blessed with a large and very active volunteer base. Many outstanding volunteers were recognized for their contributions.
Legislatively, we are currently being held at a stalemate by several Senators including key senate members Bill Rabon and Kathy Harrington.
Roles within COS were highlighted and people who are not currently volunteers were encouraged to get involved.
Mark Meckler joined us via Zoom with a word of encouragement and a map for going forward.
Rep. Dennis Ridell who sponsored HR 233 and has been a tireless advocate for us in the State government spoke to us with passion about the importance of a Convention of States in the current political climate.
"Two Citizen Moms", Mindy and Tara talked to us about their quest for medical freedom, personal body autonomy and the importance of empowering yourself with information both on your rights and the variety of treatments which have proven effective. As a state, we have made great progress in turning back the tide of progressive government overreach, but we have miles to go to defeat the socialist leviathan that continues to plague the lovers of freedom.
