As a District Captain, I've presented at Town Hall Meetings over the last couple of months, drawing about 50 people each time. A few of the participants at one of those events asked that I do a follow-up gathering for them and their friends closer to home.
The result was a nice evening at my home with just nine of us, allowing for a more in depth discussion and understanding of the Constitution and Article V.
I was pleased to see two young people in their teens in attendance and participating.
Also, one of the participants signed the petition on the spot, and two more asked me to help them download the TelePatriot app on their phones. Their intention was to start making calls the next morning!
And several intended to spread the word to as many people as they could. There was a lot of energy, and I will do more of these, mixing them in with larger town hall meetings.
Thanks to all who participated, including my wife Kitty for baking the chocolate chip cookies!
