Connecticut Team Attends Shelton Day

Published in Blog on November 15, 2021 by Lisa S Jolley

On Sunday, October 3, the Connecticut Convention of States team enjoyed a beautiful fall day talking with attendees at Shelton Day. After being cancelled last year due to COVID, the event was welcomed back by all.

Volunteers engaged visitors with information about our grassroots organization, letting them know how an Article V Convention of States will work and our goals of fiscal controls, term limits for Congress, the judiciary and Washington DC bureaucrats, and reining in the scope and power of the Federal government.

As we handed out business cards, brochures and pocket guides, we had the pleasure of being near the music, enjoying great tunes all day. One of our volunteers is an avid dancer and entertained us with her moves, which encouraged us to join her. We ended the day with 52 new supporters.

A great day was had by all. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
