On the western slope of Colorado, Convention of States Colorado District Captain Joe Fockler and his team responded to an overreaching governor by growing his grassroots team.
Volunteer Scott Carlisle notified Joe of a roadside, flag-waving rally in the small mountain town of Ridgway. Joe responded by showing up to the impromptu two-hour event with a COS banner and plenty of paper petitions.
Their efforts paid off with 20 petition signatures gathered. Joe describes the event as "easy pickins."
Many thanks to a western slope team that continues to grow COS support, despite executive orders shutting down events in Colorado.
