Carlos Barron and Scott Bright to Attend COS Town Hall Event

Published in Blog on December 30, 2024 by Patrick Bohan

Carlos Barron, Colorado House-48 Representative-Elect, and Scott Bright, Colorado Senate-13 Representative-Elect, will be attending a town hall event sponsored by COS and organized by Wayne Walvoord. Wayne is the Northern and Eastern Colorado Regional Captain for COS.

The event will be held on Sunday, January 5th at the Brighton Colorado International House of Pancakes (IHOP). IHOP is located in the Palizzi Market Place at 962 South 4th Ave, 80601 (Bromley and 4th Ave.).

The town hall event is scheduled to run from 4pm to 5pm. Those interested can stay for dinner starting at 5pm. Both Carlos Barron and Scott Bright have also agreed to stay for dinner to continue the discussion. Wayne has graciously offered for everyone to stay until IHOP closes at 10pm.

The town hall event will be moderated by John Grabowski, COS State Legislative Liaison. Below is the proposed agenda:

·         Wayne will provide a brief opening statement explaining COS and its objectives as well as introduce both Barron and Bright.

·         Both Carlos Barron and Scott Bright will have 10 to 15 minutes to address questions from the audience.

·         The time remaining will be used for both Carlos Barron and Scott Bright to address questions from a panel of COS attendees.

·         Wayne will provide a brief closing statement.

·         Dinner will commence at 5pm with an open discussion to continue with anyone wishing to attend.

·         The event will end when the last person leaves, or 10pm, whichever comes first.

Wayne has been busy. He hosted a town hall in early December with CD-8 U.S. House of Representatives elect Gabe Evans, and CD-8 Colorado State Board of Education elect Yazmin Navarro.
