BIDEN FAILS JOB #1

Published in Blog on September 28, 2021 by Charles Childers

Job #1 of all governments: protect its citizens. A citizens “social contract” with that government exchanges less important freedoms for that “protection.” Governments that fail at Job #1 must abdicate their power or be replaced.

The philosophy of John Locke laid the foundation for our democracy.

JOHN LOCKE

The English philosopher and political theorist John Locke (1632-1704) laid much of the groundwork for the Enlightenment and made central contributions to the development of liberalism.

Trained in medicine, he was a key advocate of the empirical approaches of the Scientific Revolution. In his “Essay Concerning Human Understanding,” he advanced a theory of the self as a blank page, with knowledge and identity arising only from accumulated experience.

His political theory of government by the consent of the governed as a means to protect the three natural rights of “life, liberty and estate” deeply influenced the United States’ founding documents. His essays on religious tolerance provided an early model for the separation of church and state. (Source: History.com)

Since governments exist by the consent of the people, in order to protect the rights of the people and promote the public good, governments that fail to do so can be resisted and replaced with new governments. (Source: Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy)

President “House Plant” and Vice President “Kamal-toe” have failed. Open borders which really are “no borders at all” are a direct and culpable result of this administration’s policy failures.

Two million illegal immigrants will waltz into the USA this year. They are largely unchecked for viruses, un-vetted for criminal pasts, unchallenged for terrorist intentions. Once inside our “borderless nation,” these illegal immigrants are often (and at government expense) dispersed throughout the country. This leaves our citizens unprotected. We are exposed to pathogens, viruses, criminal behaviors, and at risk for terrorist attacks.

All of this because the “House Plant” and “Kamal-toe” refuse to do their jobs. The have abandoned the rule of law. They refuse to enforce our own established laws and processes for legal entry into our country.

Protecting our citizens is Job #1. That means all of our citizens, in all parts of the world where they serve this country. The debacle in Afghanistan put tens of thousands American Citizens in harm’s way. “Commander-In-Cheap Houseplant” purposefully and willfully abandoned as many as 15,000 American Citizens and perhaps as many as 40,000 local nationals. These people have committed their lives to America’s mission. It is nothing less than dereliction of duty by this administration and the senior leaders in the military and intelligence community. Their support of this misadventure shows nothing less than a cataclysmic and treasonous failure to do JOB #1, PROTECT THE PEOPLE.

History is not kind to leadership that “cuts and runs” on the battlefield and leaves behind its fighters and supporters. Those responsible must pay for this dereliction of duty. Honorable leaders caught unawares of this intention would immediately resign. Those that do not are tarred with a “guilty brush” and deservedly so.

I have yet to see any general officer in the military rip off his or her stars and quit in disgust of one of the world’s most colossal policy failures. It is likely this will be remembered as “Houseplant’s Hoomiliation.” The senior military and leaders of the intelligence community must be as accountable for their roles. Lives have been lost needlessly in this comedy of tragedy. Our enemies no longer fear us, and our allies no longer trust us. Our citizens can no longer depend on their government to protect them.

This begs the question, “what good is this government, if it cannot do Job #1?” Governments that cannot do the job must be fired. A common soldier who behaved like this in the field could be shot for cowardice. Presidents, Vice Presidents and Generals deserve the same treatment under the “rule of law” as a simple soldier.

The administration in Washington, DC, and lesser so in Sacramento have flatly failed. They must abdicate power or face the consequences of their inactions and refusals to enforce our laws.

Lawful citizens have a path forward. Article V of the Constitution direct holding a Convention of States to return power to its rightful “people” and wrest back from inept hands responsibility to govern.

Leaders that deliberately tear asunder this fabric of society rightfully face a terrible risk. They richly deserve the wrath of the governed.
