No State without the Church

Published in Blog on December 17, 2021 by Hector Cruz

There once was a great thinker who lived in a small town much like most of ours. He had so many great ideas and expressed them so inspiringly that it began to take hold of a small group of locals. This small group was so inspired by his stories that they would follow him wherever he went. It became a public spectacle and the local churches and government officials began to despise this man and what he stood for.

After about three years of him going around to surrounding towns and telling his stories these leaders decided that his stories were causing such an uproar that he needed to be silenced. The ruling authorities killed this man and, thinking that would be the end of the story, moved on.

Of course, we who believe know this was just a beginning of another chapter in that story. Jesus was that man’s name and for 1776 years this story would inspire men to do great things and maybe not so great things. This man spoke the Truth boldly and with great courage so much so that it inspired a handful of men in a distant land to form an allegiance to His principles. These men would create a document declaring their cause and birthing a new nation, a nation under God.

Fast forward to today, 246 years later and there is a familiar spirit brewing in our nation once again, one of tyrants who lust for power. Tyrants who would take away our God given rights to self-govern. How did we get here you ask? In my humble opinion, it is because we, as a nation, left God. We are a Judeo-Christian nation that is filled with many people who do not share this belief, just as when Jesus walked the earth and not many believed Him. Jesus said,” Because I tell you the truth, you do not believe me” (John 8:45). Many today do not believe in this nation and its Creator.

If we keep rejecting and not acknowledging God as our moral authority and our Lord and Savior, we will be doomed to the destruction found in the Bible. Good news is that it doesn’t have to happen like it did for the Roman Empire and all the others. We still have hope. It will take courage because this virtue is the bedrock of all virtues. I encourage you to read Joshua, Chapter 1, for the greatest declaration of courage. We have a great foundation in this country, with the Bible and the Constitution, but it must be preserved.

The good fight of faith will continue until Jesus takes us home, but until then stay strong and courageous. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. This nation is worth fighting for and I am honored to fight alongside patriots who love this “land of the free and home of the brave”. You don’t have to have all the same beliefs as I or any other American.

You and I, as Americans, have God given rights. I've attached the Declaration of Independence, and in later articles I will use the Constitution and Bill of Rights, as well, to lay out those rights. I hope that my revelations will help in this fight and as a Christian, veteran, patriot, American, father, grandfather, husband, and a humble servant to all who need me, I honor you with my pledged devotion to our common cause. Convention of States will prevail.

In Jesus' name, amen.
