Announcing the Revised SVCD Manual

Published in Blog on February 16, 2022 by Murray Edwards

Hello, COS state team leaders.

The 2022 revision of the Convention of States State Veterans Coalition Director training manual is attached to this article through the link below. The amazing state veteran's coalition leaders collaborated on the revision of the manual applying what they have learned the State Veterans Coalition Director and Veterans Coalition Director Team roles guidance and responsibilities should be.

Front and center in the manual are a truth that bears repeating: Thank you for your service to our nation—first, in uniform and now honoring their oath that never expires through the fight to regain the freedom and liberty our founders intended. You are appreciated.

Best-selling author of the book, “Change Your World,” John Maxwell reminds us that when the institutions we’ve depended on aren’t making the world a better place the way we thought they could and should, it’s up to us.

The mission for this COS Action is to build an engaged army of self-governing grassroots activists with good people like you. A prominent American military historian, Rick Atkinson, asked an audience of his peers, “What if we had not fought the Revolutionary War against the British Monarchy? What if we had not fought World War II against Japan and Nazi Germany?”

It’s unthinkable.

Americans recognize that our country is in a present-day political and cultural war, nontraditional combat. We don’t know if it’s another civil war or another world war because we don’t know who all the enemies are. But we do know there are many. What if we don’t fight those enemies within who aim to break us? Again, unthinkable.

Mark Meckler, president of this COS Action, has said at different times that we cannot rely on the courts to get our country back on track. We're working in all 50 states to call this Article V Convention of States, proposing amendments to the constitution to take back our decision-making power.

“The question facing us is two words,” Meckler said. “Who decides? The American founders had a simple answer: We the People decide.”

Wisconsin and Nebraska made that decision last week by passing their state resolution. Our grassroots teams are growing and every additional person who gets involved with promoting COS and educating others about the constitutional power Article V gives us, is a true Patriot.

The State Veterans Coalition Director training manual is our new playbook, our toolbox. It is well written by the experienced and experts, and it’s clearly stated. The first chapter is an introduction to the spirit of the Convention of State, followed by six short chapters of basic guidance to arm our veteran's coalition leaders. The final chapter consists of resources, contacts, terminology and yes … acronyms. You remember acronyms, right?

From cooks to colonels, we are the veterans—the Dawg Soldiers—of this COS Action, and we are fighting.  During his Jan. 5 webinar, Meckler said, “We the People of our states can restore our rightful place in governance. If we don’t fight for our country, we don’t deserve our country.”

Sometimes it’s up to us!
