Those of us striving to see newly proposed amendments successfully rein in the federal government yearn to see Article V put to use soon. We feel keenly every abuse of power and every example of moral decay bombarding our lives daily. Evil forces are stripping America from the Constitutional design of our government and may destroy the best government ever conceived. At times we might wish that we could set fire to the federal government and start over from the ashes.
That nearly happened once but was squelched by a miracle. On August 24, 1814, during the War of 1812, the British entered Washington, D.C. and set fire to the White House, the Capital, the Treasury and Department of War buildings, and the Library of Congress. As those fires grew, a hurricane containing a rare tornado and heavy rain tore through D.C. with amazing results as explained in this video:

Believing as we do that our cause is just, let us ask Providence to light fires in the hearts of every state legislator who needs to vote YES on the COS resolution.
