The Day After

Published in Blog on November 08, 2022 by Will T. Zwart

After two years of chaos, arguments, resistance, outrage, corruption and get-out-the-vote efforts, the 2022 midterm election is, for the most part, finally over.

While Convention of States Action worked hard to get people to the polls, impacting more than 450 races this election, we've seen these kinds of heated races before.

Remember: even if every one of the candidates you supported won, it's still only a short-term solution to a much bigger problem that Congress won't fix.
The issues that plague America - inflation, regulations, illegal immigration, mandates, Communism, etc. -  aren't just caused by corrupt politicians who can't be voted out easily. They're also caused by corrupt agencies and bureaucrats who can't be voted out, period.

Congress is the symptom. The D.C. Swamp is the plague. A plague that can only be cured with an Article V Convention of States, and that won't occur with just one ballot on one day. It will take a concentrated, concerted effort by active Americans who continue to obtain petition signatures, recruit volunteers, spread the word about COSA, and of course, tell their legislators to call for a Convention of States.

So regardless of what happened on November 8th, no matter who won, who lost, who was an election judge or poll watcher, who counted the ballots or is still counting the ballots, who voted or who didn't (please don't be this person), we must keep up the fight!

Don't give up! Press forward! The Convention is coming, and it's coming because self-governing citizens across America don't just fulfill their patriotic duty on Election Day. They do it every day!

We don't want the economic and cultural pendulum to swing back and forth every time power changes hands. We want the government, regardless of the party majority, to stay within its jurisdiction, and we will hold an Article V convention to ensure that they do.

We encourage all patriots to stay strong and keep fighting, so present and future generations can enjoy a federal government that respects this simple truth:
