IT'S TIME IOWA JOIN CONVENTION OF STATES
Congress and its bureaucrats will never limit their own power. They will continue to spend irresponsibly and take over policymaking in areas like education and commerce–issues that should be left to the states and local governments. The only way to correct this is from the outside–and the states have the power to do it through Article V of the Constitution.
It’s time that Iowa joined with the 19 other states planning an Article V meeting to propose constitutional amendments that will put the brakes on the federal government.
WHAT IS A CONVENTION OF STATES?
WHY CALL A CONVENTION OF STATES?
It's simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Congress and its bureaucrats will never limit their own power. They will continue to spend irresponsibly and take over policymaking in areas like education and commerce–issues that should be left to the states and local governments. The only way to correct this is from the outside–and the states have the power to do it through Article V of the Constitution.
We're halfway to our 34 state goal, and Iowa can be a part of this change for 2023 by adopting the COS resolution.
