There are a number of volunteer activities that can contribute to our mission as a passed state to "Build an engaged army of self-governing grassroots activists” This document will help you to know how to conduct one of those activities, namely distributing Convention of States door hangers in your neighborhood. Often people have not heard about the Convention of States Project but are supportive once they learn about it. The door hanger is a clear plastic sheath that contains a 4" by 9" card (see page 2) that explains how the Convention of States Project is using Article V of the Constitution to gain the approval of 34 states to call a convention to propose amendments to limit federal spending, debt, and regulations. The card lists the Convention of States website where those who are interested can obtain more information and sign the petition as you did.
