84 Percent Majority Say Strict Gun Laws in U.S. Cities Ineffective at Stopping Crime Surge, 37 Percent Say Making Things Worse
(Austin, TX—January 5, 2022) Convention of States Action, in partnership with The Trafalgar Group—one of America’s most accurate pollsters in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2021—is releasing the results of a new national survey. Results were from surveys conducted December 17th through December 21st of over 1,000 likely 2022 election voters.
"The legacy media told Americans that ‘there’s nothing to see here’ as they witnessed scenes of looting, vandalism, and theft across the nation this holiday season. Voters see what’s going on, and clearly understand the causes. As strict gun laws in blue cities continue to restrict law-abiding citizens rather than criminals, the crime will continue to get worse,” said Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action. “That’s why so many people are voting with their feet and moving to places in the country with sane governance and a respect for the rule of law.”
