COSA Maryland Announces 50K Race to Liberty
We are in a race to save our country.
As you know, our country is on the wrong path. Our federal government is increasingly bloated, reckless and corrupt. In the fight to take it all back, COSA MD has embarked on an exciting and ambitious goal for 2021 called “50K Race to Liberty.”
Our goal is as follows: double the number of petition signers in Maryland to 50,000 by collecting 25,000 signers before the year’s end.
Here's where you come in: Spread the word. Take the extra step and forward this message to your circle of influence. Ask them to join us in our 50k Race to Liberty and share the Convention of States Petition.
Here's why: Legislators respond when they hear from an engaged, informed, and motivated electorate. Your state senator and delegates receive your signed petition directly letting them know you support a national effort to impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.
25,000 signatures in 2020 resulted in most impactful Committee hearing, unfortunately the session ended before our Committee voted on the resolution.
- 50,000 signatures in 2021 will get their attention and put this at the forefront of the 2022 legislative agenda.
- It is important to remember our Founding Fathers had the intellect and foresight to frame the Declaration and ultimately a Constitutional Republic of, by and for We the People.
There are countless ways for citizens to engage as Patriots. While most everyone is concerned for the future of our country, not everyone is aware of Article V, the Constitutional solution where we can call a convention of states to bring power back to the States and the people– right where it belongs.
