The infamous George Soros has put at least $126 million into the 2022 U.S. midterms, nearly double the contributions of any other donor.
This is an alarming amount of influence from someone who has played a major role in the destruction of American cities.
The following two highest donors are Republicans Richard Uihlein and Kenneth C. Griffin, who both put in around $67 million, according to a report from the New York Times.
Griffin is an American hedge fund manager and Uihlein is an American businessman from the midwest. Soros, a Hungarian-born billionaire, has melded into America's society and is commonly known for his wealth and power in not just American politics but also globally.
The outlier among these three? The election influencer from Europe with ties to the World Economic Forum and an ally to inner-city leftist prosecutors.
Campaign donations were tracked using the site OpenSecrets.org. The NYT labeled Soros' contributions as 'deceptive' because almost all of his funds – $125 million – were directed to his political action committee, called Democracy PAC. The PAC could then distribute the money how they pleased – or how Soros wanted – by getting around America's campaign laws that prohibit direct contributions over $5,800 per candidate per cycle.
The Soros PAC has allegedly only spent $15 million, which brings into question when and where the rest of the money intends to be pushed.
With his $8.6 billion net worth, Soros is behind the rise in 'woke' prosecutors allowing riots and crime to surge in the United States. The Hungarian government has slammed Soros, passing "Stop Soros" laws to drive out the billionaire's destructive initiatives.
In the previous 2018 midterm elections, spending totaled a record $14 billion. However, this election cycle, spending is expected to top $16.7 billion after Election Day, breaking yet another record.
As an independent regulatory agency, the Federal Elections Commission is designed to be a fiscal watchdog in the democratic election process.
As stated on its website, the mission is to "protect the integrity of the federal campaign finance process by providing transparency and fairly enforcing and administering federal campaign finance laws."
The power, manipulation, and control used in this year's election through money should be concerning to every American.
While there isn't a clear answer on what changes need to be made to the election system, abusive influence on our Republic through outsider billionaires is something worth addressing.
The U.S. government is supposed to be conducted by the people for the people, not by the political elite. Politicians are supposed to report to us, not to one power source that funded their entire campaign.
Convention of States wants to see the federal government work for the people with fiscal responsibility and limited power. That's why we are working to call a Convention of States under the direction of our Constitution.
We can implement term limits, a step towards restricting the possibility of candidates selling themselves out and staying in Washington for decades.
