Introducing Our Texting Character

In early April, we invited you to participate in an exciting project to help select the name and image of a new character that will represent the COS texting program in this crucial election year and beyond.

We are truly grateful for all of the creative ideas that were received.

Whenever the grassroots is called upon, you respond with great enthusiasm, energy, and ingenuity whether it's to rally in support of the COS resolution, organize local meetings, or participate in creating this new symbol.

Now we are excited to announce the name and image of our new character:

We hope that you are excited about Liberty the Texter, who will symbolize our efforts to engage and inspire calls to action via your texts in the coming months when so much is at stake.

You can begin preparing to join Liberty to help COS in the fight for liberty by visiting our National Phone Team Information Page. There you will find whatever you need for participating in the TelePatriot mission, which includes sending text messages via an app.

Sign the petition to call for an Article V convention!

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention.
