The Kentucky Convention of States team is very happy and honored to announce the second annual Capitol Day Event on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the state capital in Frankfort.
The day will be used to establish a physical presence in the capitol by meeting with our legislators and asking for their support of our COS resolution. The bill is currently sponsored by Regina Huff of House District 82, which includes Whitley and part of Laurel counties. Also, we are planning to have an outstanding speaker join us for the event.
In order to make this day successful, we need volunteer help. We need help with photography, spreading the word on media platforms, and with general organization such as printing sign-in sheets, bringing the donuts and coffe, among other tasks.

Above all else, we need a large number of folks to be there and show our legislators our strength and commitment to COS. If you have never gone to the capital to talk to your legislator, this is the best time to do it.
And don't worry, each team will have people experienced with visiting the capitol to do most of the talking. In addition, we will be posting training documents regularly as the 2018 Capitol Day approaches. We hope that you will plan on being there.
