The following is from Legislative Liaison Chris Walker.
It has been my honor to serve for several years in this worthy cause to rein in the federal government in a few different roles.
As a District Captain, I learned how to organize and motivate the grassroots to action as well as how to influence legislators.
As State Director, I learned the rest of the roles of the organization and how to lead.
I am staying on as a Legislative Liaison to make my knowledge available to the COS Virginia team.
My experience has prepared me to mentor others and develop a strong Legislative Liaison team to support our leaders.
Some of the core functions of a Legislative Liaison are to research Virginia legislators and candidates, develop relationships with them, and have a good working knowledge of how the Virginia General Assembly functions.
It is my desire and my goal that we will soon see Virginia join the states who have called for a Convention of States as defined by Article V of the United States Constitution to propose amendments that will end federal overreach.
I feel I have been called by God to help fulfill this mission. Therefore, I plan to do so with vigor and passion.
Please join us in making history.
