In just two weeks the Delaware Convention of States team is excited to host our first statewide COS Rally at Legislative Hall in Dover. We are inviting all Delawareans who are interested in ending federal overreach to join us.
We will have several speakers on June 7th including our keynote speaker, Convention of States President and co-founder, Mark Meckler! He will be sharing the safe and peaceful method given to us by our Founders that Convention of States is using to save our republic.
In addition, our State Director, Ginny Watkins and our state Legislative Liaison Ben Cassell will be speaking about our state and national progress in working toward an Article V Convention of States. This effort is underway now and gaining steam in states throughout the country. One of the goals of the rally is to inform our own Delaware legislators about COS.
At the rally you will gain insight into the Convention of States mission of self-governance, learn how we are using Article V of the Constitution to bring power back to the states, and discover how you can become more involved in our statewide effort. You will also have an opportunity to meet the members of our Delaware volunteer team.
After the rally, we encourage you to join with COS team members in delivering packets of literature to your own state legislators as you encourage them to support the cause.
